The unisex collection includes everything from long sleeve turtleneck tops, vests and buckled tennis pants to sweatshirts, pullovers and many, many t-shirts. Also in the capsule are NikeCourt’s Air Zoom GP Turbo sneakers, in three unique colorways to match the collection’s color scheme. The trailer DuVerney tweeted out today has a lot more than that, along with a wonderfully inspiring message: There’s a lot of information packed in here, along with appearances from the show’s larger cast, which includes Mary-Charles Jones, Cranston Johnson, Alexander Wraith, Daniel Puig , Aidan Gemme, Will Meyers, Camila Moreno, Barry Watson, and Law & Order: SVU ’s Stephanie March, among others. The tennis star photographed, styled and curated the collection. If you’ve made it this far without knowing Naomi’s secret, I see no need to spoil it; suffice it to say, so far her origin story looks very consistent with the origin of the DC hero as created by writers Brian Michael Bendis and David F. “When it was in the process of creation, it was important to me that there was something for everyone, which means more versatile, gender-neutral pieces in my favorite colors and of course the legendary camo print,” Osaka wrote on Instagram. Development on Naomi was first announced in late 2020 when DuVernay partnered up with The CW to bring the character to life in her own series alongside Arrow alum Jill Blankenship, who serves as showrunner on the title.

One standout piece is a stylish featuring functional utility pockets and thoughtful details such as Osaka’s logo, a stylized version of the Japanese “Lucky Cat. But what strikes me most about the TV series is how cinematic Naomi looks. I’m not much of a comic book person, so I didn’t know anything about this character and I thought that it was a really cool introduction to her.”   View this post on Instagram .
