"Since his adoption, they consulted with multiple professionals in the healthcare and educational arenas in order to provide Huxley with the best possible treatment and care," Taneff and Sayers continue. "Over time, the team of medical professionals advised our clients it might be best for Huxley to be placed with another family.

"For us, it's been really hard hearing from the medical professionals, a lot of their feedback, and things that have been upsetting," he continued. "We've never wanted to be in this position. And we've been trying to get his needs met and help him out as much as possible ... we truly love him." Myka said that Huxley is currently "thriving" and "happy" with his new family, who are "a very good fit."

I would hate to think that by you amplifying her platform that it may encourage any of her followers to think that this is acceptable behavior and start giving away their babies rather than seek help. All I can hope is that he found a family that will show him unconditional love.

As an transnational adoptee from Korea who had serious medical issues when I came to a family who loved me & never gave up I find the fact that she “rehomed” her son & how she uses adopteetrauma to describe her struggles and adopt don’t shop as if he were a pet offensive. Shame

The best thing I can say is at least Huxley was surrendered instead of killed. Unfortunately, there are parents who take their disabled childrens' lives because they can't 'handle the stress' and get *sympathy* for doing so.

Hi I need it known that this family knew about the severity of the medical conditions and that they let the info go “in one ear and out the other” from a medical professional who told them that the severity isn’t what your family is looking for.

When I was adopted I had a lot of behavioural issues that had to be changed, I couldn’t read or write at 8 yrs old but in a loving home that all changed & hard work, got GCSE’s, got into uni, got married had my daughter, battled kidney failure but my point is there’s no quick fix
