‘Mulan’ Madness: With A Potential Disney+ Windfall, Will Studio Still Need Movie Theaters?

I don’t think they can do this on a regular basis. There’s still a lot of money to be made in the theatrical windows model.

Predictably while rival exhibitors all responded angrily over AMC/Universal shortened window announcement, as with Hamilton exhibitors will be privately apoplectic with rage over Disney’s decision over Mulan but publicly they won't respond

Theaters will come back after the pandemic is under control. I will definitely return to the the, but I won't take unnecessary chances while there is so much uncertainty. I'm desperate to see WW84, but it's not worth my health...
