Most CEOs are bracing for a recession

For the first time during the economic expansion, CEO confidence is now in negative territory.Worse, business leaders are bracing for a potential downturn caused by the Federal Reserve's quest to tame inflation. California's $6 gas could spread nationwide, JPMorgan warnsA staggering 68% of CEOs surveyed by The Conference Board expect the Fed's war on inflation will eventually trigger a recession.

To get inflation under control, the US central bank may have to slow the economy so much that it accidentally ends the recovery. The Fed's slow response to inflation was a mistake, says ex-chair Ben Bernanke"Recessionary-concerns are real," Mike Sommers, CEO of the American Petroleum Institute, told CNN. He noted that history shows recessions often follow rapid interest rate hikes.

They should be bracing for the windfall profit tax!

CEOs fear a night of the long knives, metaphorically speaking, they fear unions, they fear an empowered workforce, and they fear taxation. They will try to push America into recession to influence things in their favor. This is the fight and the fight is now!

Because they are GREEDY

CEO’s caused the recession by being greedy now they’re crying because Americans can’t afford anything

but they'll still get their EOY bonuses.
