Out of those 24,172 deaths, 13,831 were confirmed to be related to COVID-19, and another 5,048 were likely linked to COVID-19.That left 5,293 excess deaths that were not identified as either confirmed or probable COVID-19 cases -- and the report says those fatalities"might have been directly or indirectly attributable to the pandemic."

"We've had a significant impact here from the pandemic -- we've had more than 6,000 cases and more than 300 fatalities," Mayor Steven Fulop told ABC News. On Saturday, 55 people were admitted to New York City hospitals for suspected COVID-19 -- down from 69 on Friday.Recipients of the nonprofit organization The River Fund wait in line to receive free groceries on May 9, 2020, in Queens, New York.

The mayor called this major progress for protecting the city's homeless. In the six days since the overnight subway shutdown started, the number of homeless New Yorkers willing to accept help has been"very consistent," he said. Starting Monday, people won't be compelled to stay home and will be allowed to gather in groups of up to 10 people inside or outside. Small shops and markets can open with restrictions on the amount of people, while bars, restaurants, cafes and large museums will remain closed. Many schools will reopen Tuesday.

France still faces the challenge of, in the prime minister's words, being"split in two." Four regions, including the greater Paris area, are still in the"red" zone to signify remaining pressure on hospitals, and they will remain under stricter guidelines, with middle schools, parks and public gardens staying closed.

What about bitches?

Wait, beaches will be open but everyone has stay at home orders until August? Am I missing something here?

Rules for the beach, parks, hiking trails, jogging and all outdoor activities should be: - Don't congregate within 6 feet of people who don't live in the same household. - If you must congregate, wear a mask. - Have fun. That's it. Those are all the rules.

I’ll bet these are some of the dumbest restrictions EVER 😂

Good luck with people following those

You gotta love people who think that if you're sitting on a towel, on a beach, alone, 200 feet from anybody, you have to wear a mask to be 'safe.' stupid scientificignorance

Nope

Legit I want a cow so bad

The cow loves the salty taste of the mountainbiker's sweat, that's why it takes interest in him.

Sadly, such beautiful animals are bred for slaughter, or milking while their kids are slaughtered.

The cow is taking an interest in the salt generating from the sweat. 😓

La selfi vaca 🐄

Last time I lick it, it's not this salty. 🐮

I live in WA. Not a fan of Inslee but he's doing pretty good w this. It will show in the long run these states will be doing better financially than states that opened & will/already close again. I'd rather be safe & poor at this point. Apparently France's leaders are more intelligent than ours.
