My sister and husband caught something shortly after Thanksgiving 2019 and were super sick. Docs said it was flu w/sinus infection piggybacking. We had been around LAX walking through terninals while waiting for her flight out. Never confirmed but sure it was covid.
Really not surprising. Mild or moderate cases probably treated as a general upper respiratory infection, and more serious ones went into a pneumonia. How many of us had it before we ever knew we were even near it?

A friend of mine held a birthday party in late September 2019, some of the guests had just travelled internationally and brought back a virus we all caught. Every symptom of Covid. It was September 17, illness lasted 1.5 weeks, over by October 1st the day I moved into a newapt🤷🏼♂️
