The search for at least 50 people missing since an open pit coal mine collapsed in northern China has been suspended following an additional landslide at the facility, state media has reported.

BEIJING --Work had been suspended for several hours after an additional landslide at the gigantic facility following Wednesday’s mine collapse in the vast Inner Mongolia region’s Alxa League.

The official Xinhua News Agency said about 900 rescuers with heavy equipment were on the scene and work had resumed by Thursday morning. Images of the collapse distributed by CCTV showed a massive wall of debris rushing down a slope onto people and vehicles below. Inner Mongolia is a key region for mining of coal and various minerals and rare earths, which critics say has ravaged the original landscape of mountains, grassy steppes and deserts.

Surrender or Else They must demand all Russian troops to leave Ukraine immediately. Could you imagine it? In one move by making peace in Ukraine both China and Russia would no longer be labelled as enemies of the US. We need peace, so I wish the foreign minister of China good luck in reaching his impossible goal.
