Company should have paid for noise sncekijng headset
A horrible employer. Working from home will become a permanent fixture in the post covid landscape and employers that practice empathy and understanding will be the ones that will have a competitive edge.
The_Minge Case dismissed
Ya gotta get control of your kids.
Well fair is fair they are paying her to work & produce & if kids making noises that keep her from doing her job ,then they have to do what they have to & most likely it was not a first time
Mother torn between job and children. Children will always win but there must be a better way.
Is she a defendant in her lawsuit? She is the one responsible for her house and her kids and their discipline. Idiot
Why could she not teach her children to be quiet while mom was on the phone/zoom? I taught my children to respect my work periods. She could too.
Uh you should have known that work is not where you have noisy kids tending to! Why did some relative not take care of them while you worked. U would have had child care if you physically went to work! Bad judgment
The comments on this article are the epitome of everything that’s wrong with the American work culture. People are just faceless numbers. Most other first world countries give their workers rights and latitude during the extraordinary conditions due to the pandemic.
99.9999% of companies require you to have a quiet setting and background for remote work from home.
Shameful
Blame Governor Newsom and the Democrat party running California into 3rd world status.
I can see that
Yeah...this looks like a lady that smells opportunity. We’re all having to adjust. I don’t completely buy her angst. Sorry.
How you get fired working from home ?
Alright folks, let’s just cut to the chase, where’s the gofundme page?
KarrenEricson She should of been. She needs to control her kids.
If you’re working from home, that setting needs to mimic an office setting. If you wouldn’t have your kids at the office your employer shouldn’t know they are there, it’s unprofessional & they’re paying for 100% of your attention.
If it had been my kids being noisy I would not have been fired. /M I wonder if they warned her first. This would be an interesting case to follow.
Oh, so her privilege card didn’t work? Get over it! Welcome to the rest of America where losing your job because your kids won’t stfu is the least of OUR worries. And what up with her Resting B. Face? God forbid I spell it out and get a warning or suspension for using my 1A.
Sounds like her children didn't respect her and now she won't take responsibility for it.
Shitty company it has to be to do something like this
Well, it is highly inappropriate for children to be heard at any time on a 1-800 sex chat line.
Good. That’s fair. Why should they have to tolerate your kids.
How the hell could she not control her kids if she's working good grief
Spare the rod, spoil the child
Fuck them kids
Spank them on the ass like the 1990s, worked every time with me.
at will state. They don’t even need to give her a reason to fire her
I fired her and I would do it again.
They don’t care about us.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 That's messed up
Good morning America.
Gonna have to euthanize the kids so the economy doesnt suffer
Why no mention of one of the biggest stories of the decade? Jeffrey Epsteins gf: Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested
Fair enough..
Wow.. that's fucked up.
Next time, inform your children about the importance of business calls. Or pacify them with a Playstation. 🤷
Unfair dismissal did she have a contract that states specifically that when working from home during a pandemic that no home noise is allowed? Stupid is as stupid does. Sue !!!
If you say you can work from home then the employer should check the work space to see if it's suitable. It is on the employee to make that space a working environment, having said that there should be some adjustment period allowed for certain circumstances.
Ok. Seems fair.
