Original stories can offer fresh takes on topics and worlds that haven't been explored before. Having some fresh faces and a fresh story to enjoy, without needing to watch anything else beforehand is a nice thing to do sometimes. Also, original movies can be wonderful too.
Exactly & as proven by this year original non franchise movies can make money at the box office so that’s smart for MGM to make more original movies!
