MEXICO CITY, Aug 4 - Mexico sued several gun makers in a U.S. federal court on Wednesday, accusing them of reckless business practices that supplied what it called a "torrent" of illegal arms to violent Mexican drug cartels, leading to thousands of deaths., Barrett Firearms, Colt's Manufacturing Company, Glock Inc, Sturm, Ruger & Co and others knew their business practices had encouraged illegal arms trafficking into Mexico.
The lawsuit is one of the boldest steps ever undertaken by Mexico to pressure the U.S. arms industry, which Mexican leaders have for years blamed for fueling gang violence. They pointed to cases including a recent offer by Remington Arms Co to pay nearly $33 million to families to settle lawsuits claiming that its marketing of firearms contributed to the 2012 Sandy Hook school massacre in Connecticut, where 26 people died.Guns are displayed after a gun buyback event organized by the New York City Police Department , in the Queens borough of New York City, U.S., June 12, 2021.
One Mexican official said the lawsuit was filed in Massachusetts because some of the companies were based there.
The picture is wrong, you should be showing custom-made assault weapons and/or some of the custom-made propaganda that these companies create exclusively to sell to the cartels.
Bravo! US gun makers supply the guns , US big pharma incentivizes opioid addiction, and the US financial system launders profits from illegal drug traffic. Latin American countries are getting ravaged by these interest groups. We need to put these profiteers front and center
Maybe if Mexico went after the drug cartels instead of taking money from them, there would be no gin violence. Corrupt government.
The best choice I've made this year was investing in cryptocurrency and forex trading and earning from home. With the help of SoniaCortney1 I've been earning $7500 weekly I've never regretted this decision.
I guess it's time to class action sue Mexico for all of the victims of crimes committed by Mexican nationals. Only fair.
