Mexico says Trump agreed to help it meet global oil cut target

Speaking at a news conference, Lopez Obrador said U.S. President Donald Trump had spoken to him on Thursday before Mexico said it would cut output by 100,000 barrels per day - less than oil producers had initially wanted it to.

“President Trump said the United States committed to reducing by 250,000 , on top of what it was going to do, for Mexico, in order to compensate,” he said.

Trump: oh and by the way, here is the bill for the wall. 30 days net.

and just how can he accomplish that ?

Of course, Trump would say that American jobs don’t mater, that we will use American Oil revenue or cutbacks, and that one day the needy and the poor will pay back their debts. Just like Mexico will pay for the wall. Yet, here we are, with Trump supporters looking the other way

Very interesting!

why is Trump letting mexico off the hook here? if everyone is doing a 23% cut in production why is mexico getting away with just 5% cut? ofcourse US production will go down because of price and demand. but why not let mexico reducing its o/p more and get oil price up more?

Was the word 'wall' mentioned?

We’re part of OPEC now?

Does Trump know that? Helping and Trump aren't usually in the same sentence.
