Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Meghan Markle did not take part in Monday’s discussions at Sandringham over the Sussexes’ royal split — after the couple decided it “wasn’t necessary.”
Prince Harry remained in the U.K. to join the royal family’s so-called “Sandringham summit,” where they discussed his future.But on Tuesday it was confirmed that the 38-year-old did not in fact take part in the discussion. Those who did attend the meeting with Queen Elizabeth II included Prince Harry, Prince Charles and Prince William.
The meeting was followed up by a statement from the queen which detailed the outcome of the “constructive discussions.”
