Although Walt Disney parks are temporarily closed, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is having a baby boom.

The 65-pound girl, who has yet to be named, was born to first-time mom Heidi on March 21. Within her first 30 minutes in the kingdom, the littlest zebra was already standing unassisted on her “very long legs,” according to Disney’s Animal Care team.

Her arrival marks the third zebra birth at Walt Disney World this year. The park, and Disneyland, are currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Born to mom Peri on Feb. 25, the baby girl is known as a porcupette. According to Walt Disney World’s veterinary team, “porcupettes are covered in a fine red fur coat, but they’re also born with their tiny quills underneath, which begin to harden hours after birth. Those quills are actually what helped the team determine the baby’s gender.”

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Is an Instant Self-Isolation ClassicThe timing of Friday’s release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons was dazzlingly, (and, for that matter, unfortunately) fortuitous. TIME, The Guardian, Forbes, The Telegraph, GQ, Engadget, Yahoo!, and Jezebel sister site Kotaku all agree: It is the game we need right now. In general I am allergic to this kind of hyperbolic veneration, but this time it might just be true. At the very least, it’s one of those instant-classic cultural touchstones like Get Out or Breaking Bad or the self-titled Beyoncé album that arrived precisely at the right moment. (It’s obviously possible to survive without a twee video game, but for its instant legion of enthusiasts, it feels like an essential.) Animal Crossing: New Horizons, in its own adorable and silly little way, as defined right now.
