I only support reparations for those who are living and were legal US slaves before slavery was banned with the 13th amendment. What? They're all dead? So are all the slave owners? Oh... guess it's a dead point then.
I'm not much a fan of McConnell but I hardly see any reason to blame him for what happened with his ancestors. The idea that we can make up for slavery with money is foolish, and I don't want more taxes out of my check because the history of country and mistakes that were made.
