Marvel's Tom Holland Announces Social Media Hiatus Due to Mental Health

Spider-Man and Avengers star Tom Holland has taken to social media to announce that he's actually taking a break from social media. The Marvel star posted an extended video on his Instagram explaining why he has decided to delete the apps from his phone, specifically citing the fact that they're detrimental to his mental health. Holland revealed:"I find Instagram and Twitter to be overstimulating, to be overwhelming.

"Hi guys, so I've been trying to make this do an hour now, and for someone that has spent the last 13, 14 years, however long I've been acting, I cannot seem to say what I need to say without 'umming' and 'arring' every five minutes. So I'm going to try again. So I have taken a break from social media for my mental health, because I find Instagram and Twitter to be overstimulating, to be overwhelming.

"The Brothers Trust is supporting this charity because we think it's a fantastic cause. There is an awful stigma against mental health and I know that asking for help and seeking help isn't something that we should be ashamed of, but it is something that is much easier said than done. So hopefully these apps can be your first step towards being happier and healthier."

You can take a break from SM,without any announcement and people wont still care.

Hate that anyone is saying anything that bad to cause him IRL stress. Social media shouldnt be taken that serious yet everyone wants to be heard & taken seriously & not caring who they hurt in the process as long as its not them. Its a dumpster fire & you gotta have thick skin 😕
