Theatres wouldnt release Irishman due to the fact that Netflix would only give theatres Internationaly a 1 week window b4 the movie goes on line. If they gave theatres longer window the Irishman would have gotten the screens. Scorsese shouldn’t have made the film for streaming

Scorsese is a man, so his films explore male experiences. Don't blame the artist for his field's shortcomings-it's not Scorsese's fault women aren't more represented in film, it's the industry's. We just keep attaching outrage to individuals because it's easier and gets clicks

You have to admire him and Tarantino even for speaking out the truth. I’m a big fan of comic book movies but it’s true that it’s not real cinema like a Shawshank redemption or godfather etc. also ppl just going on about female leads is just absurd. Not every movie requires one 🤷🏻♂️
