Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is recasting the controversial origins of his social network in a far more noble light.

Mark Zuckerberg suggested Facebook might have helped prevent the Iraq War if it had been around at the time. In a speech on Tuesday, the Facebook CEO also suggested that the debate around Iraq played a part in the origins of Facebook. This is a far rosier account of the social network's earlier days than is commonly understood. Facebook launched after a young Zuckerberg originally built a site to rate students' attractiveness without their consent.

Social Media and the MSM are just a propaganda machines for governments, big business, and the super rich. Seriously?! It's increasingly clear that social media was designed to collect data on everyone and curtail our unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness You must be joking. In the old days, valid or proven data was held onto while the less reliable or misleading stories would fade into obscurity.
