Marjorie Taylor Greene says Green New Deal helps China but shows symbol of Soviet Union

The hammer and sickle were on the flag of the Soviet Union from 1922 until its break-up in 1991. Since its foundation in 1949, the flag of the People's Republic of China has had five golden stars in its upper left corner on a red backdrop. However, the symbols were taken up by communist movements around the world and it was apparent that Greene was likening the Green New Deal to communist ideology.

The Chinese flag did form a part of the next poster that Greene's aide held up, which was superimposed with an image of China's leader

Marjorie, enough propaganda! If the US doesn’t invest big in green energy technologies that US owns and developes it will be parked as an energy nation very soon in the future. Collapse in valuations of ExxonMobil and Chevron relative to the market are obvious warning signs!
