As significant numbers of Americans seek religious exemptions from COVID-19 vaccine mandates, many faith leaders are saying: Not with our endorsement.

FILE - In this Saturday, July 11, 2020 file photo, mourners attend the blessing of ashes of Mexicans who died from COVID-19 during a payer a service at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York, before they were repatriated to Mexico.

“No clergy are to issue such religious exemption letters,” Greek Orthodox Archbishop Elpidophoros said, and any such letter “is not valid.” A number of dioceses have adopted policies similar to New York's, and bishops in El Paso, Texas, and Lexington, Kentucky, have mandated vaccines for employees. The issue is becoming more heated as public- and private-sector employers increasingly impose mandates.

“There is no credible religious argument against the vaccines,” he said via email. “Christians who are troubled by the use of a fetal cell line for the testing of the vaccines would also have to abstain from the use of Tylenol, Pepto Bismol, Ibuprofen, and other products that used the same cell line if they are sincere in their objection.”

What religious objection could there possibly be to wearing a mask?

NO is R I G H T .

A religious exemption is for anyone who has sincere religious conflict with vaccination. A religious objection may be expressly implied by religious denomination or it may be based on an individuals own moral/spiritual conscience to live Gods Word.

Dream on ppl. Covid Card or you don't get in. Who knew the Mark of the Beast would turn out to be a vaccine? Anyways... Try not to take the bible literally. Get vaxxed. It isnt a conspiracy.

Religious reasons!? What? Any Fükwit, just has to say “it’s against my religious beliefs” Or do they have to quote the appropriate verse from their Bible, to make it so?

Trumpaterians ?

I think we can just to the facts that heart problems, and blood clots are already a proven side effect for some. we don't need the swollen restocked debate She never said it was a side effect. She clearly stated that her cousin’s friend told her about his experience after getting the vaccine. She also never said don’t get the vaccine. This headline is misleading
