WASHINGTON - A retired firefighter who is suspected of throwing a fire extinguisher at police during last week’s mob attack on the U.S. Capitol has been arrested, a U.S. Justice Department spokeswoman confirmed on Thursday.
According to court documents, Sanford was captured on video hurling what appears to be a fire extinguisher at police. The Justice Department has brought more than 70 criminal cases so far since supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, trying to prevent Congress from certifying Joe Biden as the winner of the U.S. presidential election.
One such person was Hunter Ehmke, charged by the Justice Department on Thursday with damaging government property, obstructing an official proceeding and violent entry.
Not good. What's the punishment it should be harsh.
We especially see a crutch of a disabled person who is being massacred
Good lock his ass up for good
Because pull, point & spray was just too difficult or what?
America will be destroyed from within
Not a Molotov like in 2020 then, but the opposite essentially. I'd prefer the fire extinguisher to a Molotov frankly
Really? Whau.
They will probably blame Trump for that ...
This wouldn't be any more ironic and tragic if the guy was a fireman
