He said law enforcement agencies were coordinating to tame the unrest, and the National Guard was activated.
Katie Wright, Daunte’s mother, huddled with loved ones near the scene and pleaded for her son’s body to be removed from the street, thereported. She said her son had called her when he was getting pulled over, and she heard scuffling before the call ended. When she called back, she said his girlfriend told her that her son had been shot.
It pure rubbish for the officer to make a wild claim that he had intended to use a Taser. He can tell that to the devil.

Dear Law Enforcement, If you don't like the protests over police-shooting victims, MAYBE STOP SHOOTING PEOPLE. I'm not saying it'll definitely work, but you've never tried it before. Call it an experiment and see what happens.
