A man was shot to death in the parking lot of the Alaska Club East on Saturday night, the Anchorage Police Department said.
Officers were called to the gym, 5201 East Tudor Road, at 7:21 p.m. because shots had been fired outside, the departmentNo arrests were immediately made and police asked anyone with information about the shooting to call dispatch at 311. The southwest corner of the parking lot was blocked Saturday night while police investigated the area. This is the first homicide to happen in Anchorage this year.
