'Who was one of [Trump's] enablers? Dr. Birx, who was afraid to challenge his unscientific rhetoric and wrongfully praised him,' Lieu said.

that she was"censored" by the White House and blocked from making appearances on national television.

She admitted that there was a point before the November election where she felt her work on COVID-19"wasn't getting anywhere," but insisted that she never purposefully withheld information from the public. "When it became a point where I wasn't getting anywhere and that was like right before the election, I wrote a very detailed communication plan of what needed to happen the day after the election and how that needed to be executed," Birx said."And there was a lot of promise that that would happen."

Birx also said that her colleagues often questioned her political loyalty when she worked under Trump and she had"always" considered resigning. "Colleagues of mine that I had known for decades... decades in that one experience, because I was in the White House, decided that I had become this political person, even though they had known me forever. I had to ask myself every morning, is there something that I think I can do that would be helpful in responding to this pandemic and it's something I asked myself every night," she said.Former White House coronavirus task force coordinator Dr.

As a doctor, I am disgusted by the betrayal of her duty to protect those under her care. She should be sued by every family of the 400K who died whilst she persisted with her NEGLIGENT SILENCE.

She was nothing more than a Trump enabler. She knew better. She did nothing. Now she’s trying to save her reputation. Screw her reputation. It died with all the poor souls that believed Trump and died as a result.

Agreed

You kidd Why

Cubfan13241 Dr. Birx definitely did not follow the Hypocratic oath. Her status as a person of medicine should be suspect, because it can be corrupted by her personal ambitions, including status and wealth!

Whittymeg1 Did she convey her thoughts to POTUS real time? I don't know. Hindsight is 20/20, Dr Birx followed corp SOP for advancement. Our king rat society is built on this. DJT knew; There is 'Malicious'. She is coming clean. Pray for her and those who perished. She has a heavy burden.

Bird was a primary person in charge She said “There were about a hundred thousand deaths that came from that original surge. All of the rest of them, in my mind, could have been mitigated or decreased substantially.' If she was not responsible Who was? MaliciousNewsweek

. Thank You TedLieu for Being a TRUTH TELLER MaliciousBirxKnew & Said NOTHING & Did NOTHING & Thousands of People Died She's Responsible for her Actions (or lack of) It carries Consequences Now if only MSM would start being Truth Tellers too & NOT Opinionated Tabloid Media

He was lying. We all saw that for ourselves. They downplayed it just like you did.

Well it is true, he’s not lying 👈🏽

This falls on that bozo atlas too.

Blame blame blame. Pretty easy

I don’t think she enabled him. Trump is Trump, If he doesn’t like what someone says he would just get rid of them. I’m not defending Dr. Birx but she was kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place here-Trump was enabled by the GOP and still is!If anyone gets the blame they do!

'Malicious': Dem lawmaker Ted Lieu says Dr. Birx enabling Trump caused many 'unnecessary deaths' He's right!

Cuz it did

WHERES THE CUOMO SCANDAL

Like she could’ve stopped him 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

'The public's realizing we nearly destroyed the country with our hysteria! Let's find a scapegoat, and claim lives could've been saved!'

Does she still have a medical license? If so, why?

She just angry so my not go after President Trump like everyone else has.

DrTonySFauci She was afraid to criticize trump, like so many others, and is now trying to make up for the guilt. As many have said, she was an enabler.

First, do no harm.....

Malicious? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Considering the USA elected Trump and put him in power and virtually nobody had the spine to stand up to him, why scapegoat one doctor whose job it never was in the first place. That's very unfair.

She and He and you, Newsmax have blood on your hands.

Birx should have kept her mouth closed about “unnecessary deaths” because she is 100’s of thousands deaths too late. She should have opened her mouth during the Trump Administration and spoke against that disinfectant injection Trump suggested but no she was afraid.

Like Icarus, Birx flew too close to the sun and was corrupted by Trump & her belief that she had to compromise her view rather than be fired. She had many off-ramps and didn't take any. The once well-respected PEPFAR leader lost it all. 550000 ppl died on her watch.

Why didn’t Birx team up with Fauci and get a slew of infectious disease docs to call Trump out on his ignorance? So what if they lost their jobs. A global team could have exposed Trump & his enablers in a way that could never be denied. That would have at least been something.

Why didn’t Birx didn’t team up with Fauci and get a slew of infectious disease docs to call Trump out on his ignorance. So what if they lost their jobs. A global team could have exposed Trump & his enablers in a way that could never be denied. That would have been something done.

I don't know if I would say it was malicious but it was certainly self-serving. It's a shame, she was once well respected, but now just another Trump body on the pyre. ETTD

Absolutely true.

Go easy on Dr. Birx She got her degree from Trump University GeorgeTakei StephenKing ProjectLincoln

So true

STFU, Lieu. Birx was in an incredibly awkward situation. Your empty accusations do not help her or the rest of us.

While in the most critical position during the pandemic Dr. Birx wrapped herself in delicate, tender silk scarves and used her most docile, subservient baby voice so as not to bruise Trump’s fragile ego. She could have spoken up. She could have saved lives. She failed us all.

“Most COVID deaths could have been prevented”, Doctor Birx recently sad lamented, With good policy, What a change would be, Sadly we had President demented.

Hindsight is always 20/20 vision. If we had only ... woulda coulda shoulda are defeatist words. Lieu, an unknown but not invisible politician is making this accusation while crimes against Asian-Americans are increasing. He will fuel the hate. What can we do to stupidity?

Tiny Lieu is speaking. Listen up. Why are we still talkiing about this? At the first surge, US was dealing with an invisible, unknown enemy. How do you fight that? Lieu does not know what he is talking about. Democrats were quiet then, tails tucked under. Biden was quiet then.

If Dr. Birx did anything more, wouldn't Trump have replaced her with a true psychopath? C'mon.. go after the true criminals.

Describing somebody being honest as being malicious is shitty reporting. Newsweek used to be better.

I know women have historically shrunk away from alpha male types, even though mysteriously attracted to them initially until subjugated and abused by them. But spineless beta males did (and still do) the very same thing, pandering for favors and trembling in fear of reprisal.

She became Death the destroyer of worlds!

chenweihua she and Dr. Fauci did this. They've admitted to it. As a medical scientist, I couldn't live with that shame.

I think she did her best in dealing with a temperamental imbecile and attempting to maintain her professional reputation. her praise of IQ45 was ambiguous at best.

realDrBirx has to take full responsibility She sold her reputation + professional to TrumpStink Never opposed and now the guilt of contributing to deaths from covid19 Dr A Fauci was maligned but never sold out feline_charm ParagSinghal09 FriedbergEric DrIanWeissman

She should have smoke the Dump at the bleach incident and pushed backed.Instead it was apparent she was brow beaten and compromised to passification.

Her silence in the face of DT's gross lies about the virus was complicity. No other way to say it! She shares the blame with the former occupant.

How is this malicious in anyway? If she did nothing to stop Trump, and she didn’t,and caused the death of one person, that was one to many! What if that one person was your sis, brother, mom,dad or grandparent.Would you feel different? I’m guessing yes,!So again, how’s Ted Lieu wrong?

Fact check: true.

When I see “unnecessary deaths”, I remember Andrew Cuomo.

Sure, Trump carried the virus to Chinatown and hugged people causing it to spread. Give me a break, tedlieu .

trump caused thousands of deaths. NOBODY ELSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Brix was and is a coward.

I don't think tedlieu is 'malicious' I think what that woman did (I won't even call her a doctor because she violated her oath to save her job) was malicious and deadly.

Dr Birx = Dr Death
