Los Angeles County health officials are investigating COVID-19 outbreaks at 538 businesses, the highest number ever.

The latest maps and charts on the spread of COVID-19 in Los Angeles County, including cases, deaths, closures and restrictions.Officials have noted, however, that outbreaks don’t necessarily indicate any safety lapses on the part of the workplaces as the virus is spreading widely and rapidly throughout the region.

“Like most grocery retailers, we do have team members who have been affected by COVID-19,” a Whole Foods Market spokesperson wrote in an email. “We are supporting any team member diagnosed or placed in quarantine so they can prioritize their health and stay home.”
