MAFS Jules slams Jessika's explosive accusation that she knew Cam before their wedding
Jules Robinson found true love with Cam Merchant while appearing on Married at First Sight Australia in 2019, and she's since addressed claims that they knew each other before the show
The stunning redhead, 37, was paired up with former cricket player Cam, 36, on the looking for love series in which they tied the knot on-screen - but it was not a legally binding ceremony.Outside of the TV show, they have built a life together - including legally become Mr and Mrs Merchant and welcoming a baby boy named Oliver.
The smitten pair are one of few success stories from the Down Under series, which was filmed in 2019, but were recently targeted by co-star Jessika Powers when she accused them of being an item prior to the cameras rolling.Jules has now offered a response to the outlandish accusations - which she called "disappointing" during a chat with The Times.
When quizzed on Jess' comments, Jules responded: "It’s really disappointing. Anyone who knows us knows that’s completely not true. We’d have to be bloody good actors, that’s all I can say."The mother-of-one added that it was not "love at first sight" when she set eyes on Cam but that it was "vibe at first sight" and that she is grateful for the show's love gurus pairing her with the sportsman who she admitted that she wouldn't have "looked at twice in the street." headtopics.com
Jule's chat with the publication followed on from Jessika shocking Married at First Sight fans by claiming she had a "conspiracy theory" that Cam and Jules were not strangers, during a conversation with Metro. The reality TV personality said: "There’s no way you’re going to meet a complete stranger, do everything that we did, and completely love that person, every aspect."
"They never had one fight, they never had one disagreement, they never had anything. My conspiracy theory is that they were together before the show."She continued: "Because Channel Nine that aired it, MAFS hadn’t had a successful couple story in a very, very long time. I feel that they needed to have that, so I think what they’ve done is they found a couple that were already together."
At the time of Jess' words, a spokesperson for Cam and Jules shut down the speculation by telling the publication: "I can confirm that Cam and Jules had never met before and all contestants genuinely took part in the experiment as strangers."

She later continued on the show with Dan, but after the show wrapped he dumped her upon finding out that she had propositioned fellow MAFS groom Nic Jovanovic, several weeks earlier. The footage of Jessika propositioning Nic was shown to Dan during a show reunion and he ended their relationship immediately.
Jessika told News.com.au : "He had seen the video of me saying I was sexually attracted to Nic, and his ego was hurt, he went, "Obviously we're not together now."It is understood that Dan and Jessika reconciled shortly after but it was not meant to be as they then split for good.Read more: Mirror Celeb »
