A US IPO will provide Lufax with access to the country's mature capital market, though geopolitical tensions could ban its listing

Business Insider is a fast-growing business site with deep financial, media, tech, and other industry verticals. Launched in 2007, the site is now the largest business news site on the web.

This has already pushed a flurry of Chinese companies that are traded in the US to  additional listings in China. To limit the dangers of being delisted, Lufax should follow its peers and open another listing at home, such as in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, where it originally planned to launch its 2018 IPO.
