Anti-Jewish hate crimes alone were up 60.5% over 2018 in the nation's second-largest city, and represented the largest single category in 2019 -- 69 of 322 total hate crimes reported by the Los Angeles Police Department, the data show.Councilman David Ryu released the data Wednesday from the LAPD, which annually has been reporting the numbers -- starting with 2016's set -- after the City Council requested them three years ago.

Crime goes up because poverty has gone way up. Thousands of homeless people preying on each other on the streets of the City of Angels. No one cares. The East Coast, thanks to Trump, hates California so this is good news for them.

Los Angeles councilmen to request MLB award World Series titles to Dodgers following Astros sign-stealing scandalOfficials in Los Angeles believe they have found a way to rectify the World Series titles they feel they were cheated out of during the sign-stealing scandal surrounding the Houston Astros. I know it’s unfair they lost to the Astros who cheated, but it would also be unfair to all the teams that actually won the World Series fairly if you awarded the championship to the Dodgers. I’m sure MLB will do that right after getting Mike Greenwell an MVP award. I live in Houston. They should replay the game in LA and give the Dodgers the cameras.......then award the the trophy to the Dodgers no matter the outcome. (I had to return a stolen chewed up piece of gum when I was little. It works. Never took anything ever again.)
