has reported a charge of $50.5 million in the fourth fiscal quarter that ended on March 31 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and related economic disruption — with $46 million reflected in direct operating expense. This charge included motion picture and television impairments and development charges associated with changes in performance expectations and the feasibility of project completions, along with costs associated with pausing film and television production.

Lionsgate posted revenues and operating income above Wall Street projections for its fourth fiscal quarter that ended on March 31. Revenues were $944.3 million, 1% above the analyst consensus. Adjusted operating income was $125.8 million, 9% above Wall Street forecasts. Lionsgate said media networks segment revenue of $358 million was essentially unchanged from the prior year quarter while segment profit of $26 million was impacted by the continued investment in Starzplay’s international expansion to 50 countries and exceeded subscriber targets. Domestically, Starz OTT subscribers totaled 6.8 million in the quarter.

Stick This Swab Up Your Nose And Twirl It: Self COVID-19 Tests Are On The RiseMore people are being asked to collect their own samples at coronavirus testing sites. It's raising questions about whether it's being done correctly and if the rush to expand testing has pushed through methods that may not be sound. (WBEZ) WBEZ Yes. The testing is flawed. We have been lied too since the beginning. The suffering is off the charts. End the lockdowns. Stop pushing a goddam vaccine. Stop this madness!!! Ethics WBEZ Had the test done. I would not be able to administer it to myself due to the instinctual response to pull the swab out of my nose the second it touches the membrane necessary to get a reliable sample. I doubt many other people would be able to, either. It's very uncomfortable. WBEZ Two friends, who took their own swabs, had to repeat the process.

Fact check: Are front-line workers taking hydroxychloroquine to prevent COVID-19?Medical professionals say they do not have any evidence to back up President Donald Trump’s repeated claim that “many” and “thousands” of front-line workers are taking hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic for COVID-19. Aspirin works really good, why don't they just take aspirin? 🤪 Oh, so you asked every front line worker in the country and their physician? Impressive. Why frame things like this?
