LIFTOFF!: Astronauts launch toward orbit from US soil for the first time in a decade

3:44 p.m. ET, May 30, 2020two NASA astronauts on a mission to the International Space Station.If successful, it would be the first crewed spaceflight to take off from US soil in nearly a decade.It will be the first-ever crewed mission for SpaceX.

It will also be the first time ever that a privately developed spacecraft launched humans into Earth's orbit.The mission is slated to try again today at 3:22 pm ET.

CNN gave this the minimal treatment because it shows America and Trump in a great light. They are chewing on wasps at CNN right now. The only reason they covered any of it is because the were hoping it would fail.

Pretty elementary design failure when your face-shield interferes with your head movement which is required to see your overhead control panel. Every time I see these guys they're screwing around with their visors as they try to initiate inputs to the overhead panel.

And that's a big middle finger to Russia. We don't need them to get to ISS anymore.
