Letter: Instead of killing a young deer over 'disease considerations' after it became friendly toward Herriman residents, Utah wildlife officials should have administered a blood test to the animal, writes Charles in West Jordan.

The Division of Wildlife Resources said “disease considerations” would make moving the young deer impossible. This comment sounds like an assumption. The DWR could have moved this young deer after the story came out.

I hope the complainer is happy knowing they caused the death of a helpless, friendly animal. The DWR needs to update its rules, and do an actual blood test, instead of making an assumption of possible “disease considerations.”

The Human Ape, as despicable as usual: Building oversized houses in places where wildlife used to live, to continue reproducing as a plague. Who is the disease?

Why ?

The problem with friendly young deer is that they can turn into aggressive old deer.

How primitive and barbaric

Should have been a hug test
