When I was working, there was no set amount of days... it's was just go, go, go.
You stole my idea :) We should give this a try for at least 3 months in different sectors in different countries and make an evaluation in the end.
My last job was a four-day week, Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm. Totally worth getting up a few hours early every day. It improved my quality of life dramatically and allowed me to attend grad school part-time.
