I haven’t been watching the news of late. Why would the President attempt to block Mr. Bolton from testifying? Wouldn’t he be able to exonerate the President? How about Mr. Mulvaney? Mr. Pompeo? Surely, they could testify that this is all a big mistake?

Let's hope the Senate decides that TruthMattersRightMatters. Should be about getting at the truth and doing what is right and less about political wrangling and bickering. The President would block Bolton simply to block the truth and the courts would surely decide against him.

Courts would decide...quickly.

They would be forced to convict on Obstruction of Congress. There would be no way to acquit. He would have obstructed every single last thing possible.

Bolton is ok to testify on house but house reject on trail. Write the facts.

These are precedents. That means any other President in the future can make these same claims. Do the Republicans think they will hold the White House and Senate in perpetuity?

The mainstream media reports that Bolton’s book says Trump admitted to withholding aid to get Ukraine to investigate the Bidens is an unsubstantiated rumor until somebody produces a copy of the book itself.
