Two days after the bus incident — and after complaining to the principal and having Jurnee’s hair styled at a salon with an asymmetrical cut to make the differing lengths less obvious — Jurnee arrived home with the hair on the other side cut. The district “failed to properly train, monitor, direct, discipline, and supervise their employees, and knew or should have known that the employees would engage in the complained of behavior given the improper training, customs, procedures, and policies, and the lack of discipline that existed for employees,” according to the lawsuit.

This is a ridiculous lawsuit. Yes the teacher might have not been right to cut her hair even though the young girl ask her to but she was only trying to help her. Teachers for years now have had to be practically parents to kids because their parents aren’t.

Why hasn't the School Bus provider been sued. The girl was not protected. She could have lost an eye, or worse. Any, significant, money won should be in TRUST for the girl until she becomes of Legal Age. Otherwise a Lifetime Annuity should be purchased for her. At 18 it is hers.
