The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors passed a motion Tuesday that will allow county health officials to impose fines or immediately revoke the permits of restaurants not complying with COVID-19 health orders.
“If we hope to slow the rapid increase in new cases while still allowing businesses to reopen, we must ensure that businesses are following the Health Officer Orders and guidelines,” the motion said.
How about government? They should not be paid while (us the people) cant work or be paid. They have a job to do (they signed up for) to protect the public. They can make a small sacrifice of pay to protect the public like they expect of us to do right?
Just suspend the drivers license of anyone not wearing a mask. Suspend it for 30 days for each infraction. I guarantee you people will start wearing a mask.
And this is exactly why LA County has more daily Covid cases than the entire EU. No one who works in restaurants washes their hands. LA tourism dollars won’t exist in 2021 from anywhere but China. No one from Europe, Australia, NZ or Canada will even think of visiting LA.
