, a quarter-life crisis causes a young Chinese-American woman to drop out of college and go on a life-changing journey to an isolated monastery in China. Kim and Gero executive produce via Gero’s Quinn’s House Production Company, which produces in association with Berlanti Prods. and Warner Bros. TV. Berlanti and Schechter executive produce for Berlanti Prods. Two incarnations of the project with different writers — both featuring a female lead — were in development at Fox the last two seasons from Berlanti Prods and Warner Bros. As much as I'd love them to up the characters age up from 22 to 32 and have MaggieQ be the lead I hope they cast her as the leads 'Shaolin Mentor' and have her appear in half the series during the leads flashbacks to her time away training before returning to her home town.

Because female led reboots are doing so well right now. How about some ORIGINAL female led series?
