Kosovo’s president, Hashim Thaci, could be charged for war crimes by an international tribunal, a setback that has forced him to cancel a trip to the White House for Balkans peace talks this Saturday.
Mr. Thaci, a veteran power-broker in the Balkans who has led Kosovo as prime minister or president for most of the past decade, said he would no longer travel to Washington for the peace talks, according to a tweet from Richard Grenell, the Trump administration’s special envoy for the Balkans.
I don't know why he’d cancel, Trump doesn't recognize that court as legitimate.
