King County allowed KIRO 7 to see part of the SODO Services Hub, where there are plans to increase the 270-bed shelter’s capacity by 150 more beds.

KIRO 7 has been covering the objections of people who live and work around the Chinatown-International District to the shelter’s expansion. Just last week, more than 100 people protested against the expansion when they marched into a King County Council meeting.

The shelter is enhanced with services and space for 270 people and has services and counseling available. It is equipped with 43 bathrooms. There was also an area built with pallet shelters to attract people camping outside, along with a behavioral health center. King County’s community and human services director bristled Monday when he was asked where all the people who will eventually be treated at the shelter, will come from.

u want to know why conservative journalist and news sites all across the country are seeing double digit increase in viewers and supporters because you CANT ADMIT PROGRESSIVES WERE WRONG IN ALMOST EVERYTHING!! Stop trying to salvage your ego and start saving the city of seattle!

Progressive policies soft on crime with revolving door courts, free shoot up sites, legalizing hard street drugs is destroying entire cities and has turned downtown seattle it into skid row and YOU STILL SUPPORT THESE PROGRESSIVE POLICIES!! and refuse to do REAL journalism!!

u ppl r disgusting. SODO Asians are begging that thier community lay in ruins because of progressive weak on crime policies and policies that created the homeless epidemic with free shot up sites and legalizing drugs now you dump a mega homeless complex there. whats wrong with u?

They only opened the doors for journalist like who ask scripted & approved questions for Dow Constitine . When journalist really do their job and ask the real hard tough unscripted and non preapproved questions like choeshow suddenly hes not a real journalist & not given access.

As long as people are forced to brain raping by BH services being imposed on them, you will have tons who would rather die - out there. And I for one do not blame them one bit. Too many are vets who were trained by the USA to resist exactly that.
