WASHINGTON - Data needed to determine the advisability of booster shots of the Moderna Inc and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines is just weeks away, President Joe Biden's chief medical adviser said on Sunday, as officials signaled they expected boosters would be recommended for a broad swath of Americans.

"The actual data that we'll get that third shot for the Moderna and second shot for the J&J is literally a couple to a few weeks away," Anthony Fauci, the U.S. government's top infectious disease expert and a Biden adviser, told NBC's "Meet the Press" program. The United States leads the world in COVID-19 cases and deaths. Nearly 676,000 people have died during the pandemic in the United States, figures compiled by Reuters https://graphics.reuters.com/world-coronavirus-tracker-and-maps/countries-and-territories/united-states showed. An increase in U.S. cases and deaths in recent months has been most acute in areas with lower vaccination rates even as federal health officials implore vaccine holdouts to get their shots.

It’s time to return to regular life. You can’t help those that won’t help themselves. Never happen !! Even if you vaccinated you can get it! So you need to put back masks mandate everywhere to lower the risk of infection and have everyone vaccinated at the same time to lower mortality That’s how u do it ! Mistake was thinking that once vaccinated , you immune !

Covid-19 cases forcing hospitals to ration care is unfair and unacceptable, expert saysWith the spread of the Delta variant and lagging vaccination rates, Covid-19 cases have strained many hospitals across the US -- which one expert called unfair and unacceptable. CNN is the enemy of the people! If you say you don’t want to wear a mask or get the vaccine and you get Covid then you should be the last to be given an available hospital bed. If there are enough beds fine, but if they start to run out then prioritize non Covid cases where the patient is vaccinated. Maybe they should stop firing employees over mandates.
