Rep. Thomas Massie indicated he will oppose any attempt to pass new funding for small business loans through the House by unanimous consent or voice vote, a threat that follows his previous objection to quick passage of a $2 trillion Covid-19 stimulus deal

Rep. Thomas Massie indicated Wednesday that he will oppose any attempt to pass new funding for small business loans through the House by unanimous consent or voice vote, a threat that follows his previous objection to quick passage of a $2 trillion Covid-19 stimulus deal.

The Kentucky Republican's comments complicate the path forward for the next coronavirus aid package under consideration by Congress, which has already been bogged down by disagreements between top Democrats and Republicans. The White House has requested an additional $251 billion for a small business loan program that was included in the $2.2 trillion stimulus bill last month, which would boost the program to a whopping $600 billion.

Get rid of the asshol

RepThomasMassie

I hope he enjoys his 15 minutes...

This is so dishonest. He did not object to “quick passage,” but everyone knows that. It passed the house on the same day, yeah? You’d think more Americans would want their elected officials to actually show up and vote on the largest piece of legislation in history.

Congress expects Firefighters, Hospitalists, Doctors, Nurses, Grocery Store employee’s, Pharmacy employee’s, and more to continue to work. Yet, they are too good to show up and do their damn job? Wear gloves, face mask, heck wear a PPE I don’t care. SHOW UP AND DO YOUR JOB!

Bless his heart

Why are these people still being paid? If so many of the hard-working people in this country aren’t making money, then cut them off, too. That’ll incentivize them to do their fucking jobs right.

Th otal asshole

What’s his problem?

get this mf out of here

Damn . .Two clowns from the good State of Kentucky. McConnell and Massie. . Wake up Kentuckians, It's time to upgrade your Congressional Representative.

Who the hell is he? The politicians are screaming for a shutdown then they don’t want responsibility for it.

Kentucky really knows how to pick 'em.

Lol love it
