Both the Wisconsin Democratic Party and a Milwaukee bank attorney filed separate complaints urging state regulators to block West from appearing in the ballot, citing both his late filing and issues with the signatures he submitted. These issues include incorrect addresses for circulators, bogus signatures such as “Mickey Mouse” and “These claims come right on the heels of similar.
The two complaints filed in Wisconsin will be reviewed by Election Commission staffers who will then make a recommendation to a bipartisan board composed of three Democrats and three Republicans. This board will ultimately decide whether or not West will appear on the ballot in November.
