Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Are Getting a Divorce (Report)

While no information as to the reason for the split has been released, TMZon Friday that Kardashian is asking for joint custody of the couple's four children; daughters North, 7 and Chicago, 2; and sons Saint, 5 and Psalm, 19 months.

West, 43, has had various difficulties over the years. In 2018, he opened up about his bipolar disorderDuring an with David Letterman the following year, West likened his mental state to having a"sprained brain." The rapper also explained to the talk show host that he feels a"heightened connection with the universe" during periods of being ramped up.for exhaustion and sleep deprivation multiple times, including once in 2016 where he was placed in a psychiatric hold at a Los Angeles-area hospital.

Kardashian, 40, is reportedly hiring lawyer Laura Wasser to represent her in the divorce proceedings. Among numerous big name clients, Wasser representeddirector Noah Baumbach in his 2010 divorce from Jennifer Jason Leigh; and Laura Dern in her 2013 split from musician Ben Harper. This would be Kardashian's third divorce, after previous marriages to songwriter Damon Thomas and basketball player Kris Humphries.

Who cares. People are literally out of work, hungry, & dying. Artists have had to change careers. That matters. Kim & Kanye’s private lives, when their well being is not really at stake...that doesn’t really matter.

Kanye West found God. Kim found a divorce attorney. 'MeToo' Hollywood sewer lifestyle too important to her. Good news is that Kanye has a prenup. He gets his kids AND keep his Yeezy billiions.
