Just one week after it was painted, a Black Lives Matter mural in Indianapolis was vandalized

to help spread the message of social justice and racial equality.

The mural, approved by the Indianapolis City-County Council in July, is painted with the names and pictures of Black Americans killed by police such as Michael Taylor, Dreasjon Reed and Breonna Taylor. Other themes, like the importance of voting and Black pride, were painted as well. But on Sunday morning, the community woke up to see that each letter had been vandalized with splatters of white and gray paint.

I'd have no problem being recorded bashing people over the head and beating them to a bloody pulp for vandalizing said murals

So like, can anyone request to paint a mural from the City-County Council? If someone wants to paint another mural, with the names of all the police officers killed by black people, and the request is denied by the Council, is that discrimination? Can they sue? 🤔

I love how the BLM stuff lasted only 5 weeks before everyone just forgot about it. Like yeah, black lives matter. But it’s also not something to riot about, which is probably why everyone started ignoring it and moving onto more important matters.
