Judge OKs agreement to destroy gun used by Kyle Rittenhouse

Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger said the state crime lab would destroy the gun, probably in April. Judge Bruce Schroeder, the Kenosha County judge who presided over Rittenhouse’s trial, approved the agreement. Rittenhouse was not in court for Friday’s hearing.

what does assault-style mean

So many people not bothering to read... Kyle only ever wanted the gun destroyed. The agreement, reached before the hearing, was that the state would destroy it and give him video proof of that fact. Kyle's lawyers said he didn't want it being sold later with his name.

A crime was not committed using the firearm... gtfoh! Because of the type? The type that's not illegal to possess? Good luck with that!

Honestly all weapons that were used to harm or kill and was taken in as evidence should be held by the crime lab and if nothing further can be done with it like more trials, be destroyed by the lab who collected it.

Rittenhouse has earned his acquittal and then some. Kudos to him for rising above everyone mouthing off about it who didn't actually research the incident beyond mainstream media.

Don't worry, he'll have 50 new assault rifles given to him by right-wing goofballs by the end of the week.
