A Clark County judge has denied the request to post bail for the man charged with murder in the slaying of rapper Tupac Shakur.

She wrote that Davis told his wife earlier this month that Jones "was a 'front' or 'middleman' for the true bond poster.'" "Ultimately, the hearing did nothing to assuage this Court's concerns that Mr. Davis paid his bond by trading on his alleged involvement in Mr. Shakur's death," Kierny wrote.A grand jury indicted Davis for murder in the 1996 killing of Shakur in Las Vegas last year, and he has been held at Clark County Detention Center ever since his arrest.
