Jewish communities across the United States once again find themselves on edge in the wake of another attack on worshippers at a synagogue, this time at Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas.

Jewish communities across the United States once again find themselves on edge in the wake of another attack on worshippers at a synagogue, this time at Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas, where a man interrupted Saturday's Shabbat service and held four people hostage for hours.

No hostages were killed and the suspect is dead, according to authorities. But after other high-profile attacks on other synagogues, the incident Saturday serves as the latest reminder for Jewish congregations and organizations to be vigilant, step up security measures and have hard conversations about how to stay safe. "All of a sudden, we have to become experts in security," said Rabbi Joshua Stanton, a senior fellow at the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership.

Eleven people were killed in 2018 at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh when a gunman made anti-Semitic comments and opened fire on the congregation.

The FBI assured us that it was not a racially motivated attack. It was a 'British man' that just happened to take hostages in a synagogue.

Don’t forget the Asian-American Community

But I wad told that the Jewish community had nothing to worry about because this guy's motive was not targeting Jews.

New Texas Voting Law Snags US Citizens, Mail Ballot RequestsA sweeping new Texas voting law that Republicans muscled through the Legislature last year over dramatic protests is drawing fire again, even before some of the most contentious restrictions and changes kick in ahead of the state’s first-in-the nation primary. Sounds like system is working. Those who are legal voters are able to quickly clear up the confusion. Not a single legal voter being prevented from voting. Can anyone name 1 registered US citizen who was not allowed to vote in the past 50 years? My ballot app was rejected. I have voted by mail for three years. The app says supply either SS or DL. If u pick wrong, and it is easy to do, no mas. The app dors not indicate that the ID must match and to check. It is deceptive, reoressive and totally calculated to repress votes
