Private equity is littered with former presidential advisers and cabinet officials.

Jared Kushner appears to have convinced the private equity market that he'll stick with his new firm, called Affinity Partners, even if his father-in-law returns to the White House.Private equity is littered with former presidential advisers and cabinet officials, and Trump's is proving to be no different.

The firm plans to mostly focus on U.S. growth equity deals, including focuses on fintech and health, but also will consider buyouts and non-U.S. companies. There were reports last year that Miami-based Affinity was scoping out Israeli office space, but it hasn't yet signed a lease. "Jared's intention is for this to be his long-term opportunity and, other than the book he has coming out, he's spending most of his time on it," the source says. "He can't live his life just waiting on what [Trump] may or may not do .... People wouldn't have joined the firm if they thought Jared is going to leave in a couple years."

alaskarebel I don't think anything anyone in this family of grifters says can be believed... they're treacherous and absolutely not trustworthy.. (even if his father-in-law returns to the White House? 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆)

Who will do Donnie's work for free?

What about if he goes to jail?

Not sure that's a good move. The only reason they're giving him a couple of billion dollars to play with is his contact with the potential future corrupt president.

Destined for failure

rofl This must be ‘investigated’.

Axios: PR firm of the rich and powerful.

I'm sure he'll be running it from ADX Florence

Will he be sharing a jail cell with his dad or father-in-law in the hopefully not-too-distant future?

If anyone trust Kushner they deserve to get burned after all we know.

He looks like he well represents the rural voters that love him so much

Very cool love to humanize this monster

No surprise.

Kushner doesn’t get enough credit for what he did for this country and the world.
