TOKYO - Japan’s top government spokesman denied on Monday that Tokyo made too many concessions in trade talks with the United States, saying the fact the two countries were able to reach a broad agreement was “very valuable.”
The agreement, if finalised, would cool a trade dispute between the two allies just as a trade war between the United States and China escalates, but some Japanese commentators say Tokyo gave up too much. At the G7 summit in France, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said the deal, which covered agriculture, industrial tariffs and digital trade, would open up Japanese markets to U.S. goods and lead to a substantial reduction in tariffs such as on beef.

I wonder if it's as good a deal as he worked out with N Korea, where we concede everything and they get to fire missiles whenever they feel like it?
Japón? Where? lunesenespaña almuariza en.Directo Japan grows like an island. But in Japanese economy
G10 may be is better.
And why would they? Trump needs an ally to buy export that China isn't buying. Japan isn't going to roll over for crops. They buy from Australia and every crop heavy nation. Japan wouldn't go into a deal unprepared when an election is around the corner and Trump is desperate.
Indeed, Japan did not give up something, but buy some corns they didn't want to.Lmao
