January 6 committee ramps up its work without a clear path to an outcome

It has been four months since House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced plans to form the panel to investigate the deadly riot, and the committee is on the verge of issuing its first subpoenas as it attempts to corral all the information it has requested.The committee has held only one public hearing, but it has requested potentially millions of documents from various government agencies and social media companies.

"The committee is casting a wide net and sought much of that information while the House was in recess, giving members limited opportunities to meet in person and discuss a path forward. Although the committee has been convening virtually on a fairly regular basis, the group met for the first time in person in more than a month on Monday night and emerged with a renewed sense it was heading in the right direction.

They should be discussing why a police officer shot a defenseless woman. George Floyd gets 5 funerals on tv and parts of a city named after him. BUT the woman gets swept under the Democrat rug.

Wow… it’s a shame Congress and the media don’t have the same fervor for investigating the covid lab in Wuhan as they do in Jan 6th. We know what happened at the capitol. We have no clue about the lab and covid origins.

Guess it's kinda hard to investigate something that boils down to loitering.
