A star-studded England team will once again take on a World XI as Soccer Aid tries to raise as much money for Unicef on September 4

The celebs will join the likes of footballers Wayne Rooney, David James and Ashley Cole for the annual charity match which raises money for Unicef.The game will once again see an England side take on a team made up of stars from rest of the world.Dermot O’Leary and Alex Scott will take up the hosting duties on ITV.

Singer Tom Grennan and footballers Fara Williams, Micah Richards, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes are all also lined up to play a part in the charity game for the first time.The players will take to the pitch at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium as they try to raise much-needed funds for Unicef.

Rooney, 35, will be lacing his boots once more as he comes out of retirement to play for England again after managing the side in 2020.Meanwhile popular pundit Micah Richards, 32, joins the England coaching team alongside David Seaman who will be goalkeeping coach.

Harry Redknapp again takes up the position as the rest of the world team's manager. Regular faces at the charity bash will return to the Soccer Aid pitch, with the likes of Olympian Usain Bolt, reality star Mark Wright, TV presenter Ore Oduba, Love Island ’s Kem Cetinay getting a run out.

Football freestyler and sports presenter Liv Cooke, radio star Roman Kemp and musician Chunkz are also in the squads.In punditry, Maya Jama makes a return.Other football stars named so far include Kelly Smith, Roberto Carlos, Patrice Evra, Emile Heskey and Jamie Redknapp.
