In the 21-16 Cleveland win, Clowney sacked Bengals quarterback Brandon Allen twice. The hits brought Clowney’s total to nine sacks this season and gives him an extra $750,000 in sack incentives.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney made the most of the Browns’ 2021 season finale against the Bengals. Literally.

Just over seven minutes later, Clowney got to Allen again, not just sacking him but stripping the ball in the process. While Clowney pounded the turf, upset that he was unable to recover the ball and run it back, the hit gave him his maximum in his non-cumulative sack incentives for the year. “I’m just really happy to be back out there and still be out there this late in the season and healthy, so just trying to finish up strong here and leave it out on the field,” Clowney said after the Steelers game.

“That is something in the offseason we will definitely talk about,” Woods said. “Just based on what he has done this year from a production standpoint, I think the things he has added in our locker room and the D line gelling, I think all of those things are positives for him. We will just see where it goes.”
